The 4 cottages at High Winder sleep up to 8, 6, 4 & 2 persons and have been designed, furnished and equipped in all respects to a high standard.
The cottages all have central heating, high quality kitchens with built in ovens and hobs, fridges, freezers etc with the 3 larger cottages having dish washers.
3 of the cottages have traditional style cast iron stoves which are gas operated with no additional charges being made for heating or lighting.
There is a guest utility room with a washing machine and dryer as well as a drying room for communal use with Winder Green and Winder Barn having their own washing machines.
Ample parking space is available and visitors have the use of extensive gardens and grounds.
Garden tables and chairs are provided at each cottage together with barbecues for shared use, with further garden furniture available.

All the cottages are decorated and carpeted to a high standard with white bed linen included throughout .
We make no extra charge for heating and electricity, have cots and high chairs available and are pleased to allow 2 dogs over a year old in each cottage.
In accordance with regulations, please note that all the cottages are non-smoking.

KITCHENWARE
All cottages are equipped with crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans, baking trays and bowls.

WELCOME BOOK
Guest information is now via this digital book. There will be a synopsis of this guestbook in the cottage.
THROWS Each cottage has a basket of extra throws, although please bring throws with you for your dog and take them away when you leave.
BEDDING Beds will be made up with clean bed linen as advised by yourself.
TOWELS We provide 1 medium and 1 hand towel per person plus and a bath/shower mat can be found hung behind the bathroom door.
DOG TOWELS Please bring your own and take them away with you at the end of your stay.
KITCHEN SUPPLIES We will provide a small welcome pack containing, some washing up liquid, a disposable dishcloth and sponge plus tea towels. Tea and coffee and a small packet of biscuits There is also salt & pepper in each cottage.
TOILET ROLL We will provide 2 toilet rolls per bathroom. Please provide your own supply thereafter.
HAND WASH There will be a small hand soap at each sink in each cottage.
HAIRDRYER
There will be a hairdryer provided in the dressing table of the main bedroom.

We are dog friendly and we'd be delighted if your dogs can join you on your holiday subject to the following rules:
The maximum number of permitted dogs in the property is 2 unless otherwise agreed with us beforehand (please do feel free to ask).
Please bring your own bedding and food bowls
Please ensure that your dog doesn't cause damage to furniture or fittings.
Dogs are allowed on sofas and chairs but please bring suitable throws or coverings.
Your dog is not allowed in bedrooms.
Please keep your dog on a lead on and around the property, the fell is common land and wild ponies, cattle and sheep could be grazing on the fell. This means keeping them on the lead when you first set out for a walk from the property. Bar for the dog exercise area at the top of the car park (please ensure both gates are closed before letting them off the lead).
Your dog must never be left unattended in the property.
Please clean up after your dog. The cottage has a dog waste bin outside and bags are provided.
If you go for a walk in the local area please ensure your dog is kept under your control and it does not chase any livestock or wildlife.
If you go into a field with sheep please keep your dog on a lead.
When you bring a muddy dog back from your walk, please clean them off using the outside taps
We regret that dogs that bark continuously are not allowed. They will disturb the other guests.
Please clean dog hairs from furniture before you leave.
